chin chin was born the moment the sun set in Menorca. At Pedreres de s’Hostal, the limestone walls caught the orange hue of dusk, their surface glowing against a circle of tables and benches painted entirely in Majorelle Blue—the electric shade immortalized by Yves Saint Laurent in Marrakech. The dinner, staged by Simon Miller and Mango’s Summer ’23 capsule, unfolded within this frame.

Around the table, waves of sound rose and fell: conversations overlapping with silverware against plates, the scrape of benches across stone. Beyond the quarry walls, the ocean carried its rhythm inland, folding into the voices. For a moment, everything—light, color, setting, sound—converged.

Food, fashion, and design are more than essentials of life. They are languages and they are art: carrying memory, shaping identity, forming culture, and giving expression to what words cannot.

chin chin lives in this space. We tell the stories of people and cultures, of expression and form, of how the essentials of life move through culture as both necessity and creation.

We are building a community of readers, creatives, and collaborators who share this language of desire, ritual, and identity. A conversation for those who already see the connections between what we eat, what we wear, and what we create.

I am so glad you found us here; I hope you stick around: cheers to good taste, chin chin!
